Her mission as a teacher is to train dancers who are confident in themselves, understand body mechanics, prevent injury and help her students fall in love with the process and perform!
Sharon Millen RAD RT RDECE
Miss. Millen has been dancing since the age of 4 and has never stopped! She began her training of ballet under the direction of Miss Josephine Both of Cambridge Ontario. She then went on to study under the direction of Miss. Dianne Long, ARAD AISTD, and continued on to work for her at the Cambridge Theatre Dance School until June of 2011. Miss. Millen had the pleasure of being the Head of the Ballet Department at the Cambridge Theatre Dance School between the years of 2006-2011.
Throughout her training Miss. Millen also had the pleasure to be trained by Barbra Jacobs of Les Grands Ballet Canadien and Elaine Ottis of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company. During her younger years Miss Millen performed and studied with the Black Walnut Ballet Company of Waterloo Ontario and graduated from the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood Collegiate of Kitchener, Ontario.
She holds her Elementary Executant Ballet Certificate and her Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies with Registered Teaching Status with the Royal Academy of Dance, both her Advanced Modern Certificate and the Gold Jazz Award with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance along with her Registered Early Childhood Educator status with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Her passion for teaching reaches outside of the studio walls and is honoured to share her love of the arts on a daily basis with children in a classroom setting as she also works for the Waterloo Region District School Board.
Miss Millen is married and has three beautiful children.
Miss. Millen holds a great passion for the art of dance and enjoys the many rewards that come with introducing the world of dance to children of all ages. She is very much looking forward to meeting both the students and families here at One Movement.
Dianne Long

Dianne teaches the Ballet Program at
ONE Movement Dance Centre.
She brings over 35 years of teaching experience and has many significant credentials to enhance her classes.
Dianne holds her Advanced Certificate in Ballet from both the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
She holds her Advanced Certificate in Modern Theatre with Honours from ISTD and is an Associate Member of the
Imperial Society in Modern Theatre.
Dianne holds her Elementary Certificate in Honours from the Benesh Institute of Choreology of London UK.
She is also an official member of the CTBS Diploma Program of the RAD London UK.
Member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science.
Dianne teachers a dance program for people living with Parkinson's Disease.
Dianne is a member of the International Dance Council, National Ballet of Canada and Dance Ontario.
Also trained in Limon and Graham;
Dianne has had a long career in dance and continues to inspire dance as an art form in her students.
Katrina Everingham
Ballet
Katrina teaches our ballet program
on Tuesday nights.
She started dancing at the age of 4 and has trained at various dance studios
Upon Graduating from the Fleming School of Dance she continued her studies at Sheridan College receiving an Honours
Certificate in Performing Arts.
Katrina is an Associate with the Imperial Society of Teachers in Modern Dance and Theatre.
She has trained in Ballet, Tap and Jazz and enjoys sharing her love of dance with her students.
Pete Christo
Acro
Pete has been involved in all facets of dance for 35 years. As a Triple- Threat performer in shows like A Chorus Line and Grease to travelling around the world with Carnival Cruise Lines . Training in all facets of dance has made him extremely well rounded and made him the person he is today. He has adjudicated across North America and is very honoured to have been the first Canadian to judge the IDO World Tap and Show Dance Championships. Now as an instructor and choreographer he works his students with his way outside the box thinking to help them achieve their goals. Many of his students have went on to University for dance, TV and professional jobs across the world. He is super stoked to be here this week.
Mackenzie Johnstone
Tap, Jazz, Theatre, Hip Hop
Mackenzie is a new teacher eager to help kids find their passion in dance, as she has. Starting out at the age of three, she has been trained in all styles by many different teachers.
Competing under many studios and attending various workshops, such as The Dance Shoppe, The Dance Pac, Eastern Canadian Tap Conference, the Tap Dance Centre, the Toronto Rhythm Initiative, the Rhythm Ensemble, etc.
Mackenzie has been so grateful to have the ability to learn from each individual and wants to help pass on this knowledge while still continuing her own self-improvement at the University of Guelph Tap Pak.
Music has been such a great part of her life on and off the stage - enjoying/memorizing musicals and practicing tap improvisation in her free time. Competing in international championships in Germany, Spain, and Portugal with Team Canada Dance and World Performers Canada for tap and hip-hop, Mackenzie has brought back three team medals and an immense amount of lessons learned about the wonderful world of dance. She can’t wait to help students understand that dance is a beautiful form of self-expression with so many respected historical influencers to learn from and really just a blast to take part in. She is so happy to join the team!
Beth Jones
ARAD, AISTD, CDTA
Jazz
Beth trained at the Moree School of Dance before attending Ryerson and York University's dance programs. She founded and Director Grand River Academy of Dance for 15 years. Beth has over 30 years of teaching experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, acro and tap. She has been a registered RAD teacher for over 20 years and also holds her IDTA and CDTA teaching certificates. Beth is also a Fire Fighter and holds her First Responder level first aid and healthcare provider level Life Support. She is excited to join our team!
Dominique Grenier
Dominique has been dancing ballet for twenty plus years. She has always been passionate about ballet and sees dancing as a journey. She is still working on achieving Royal Academy vocational levels and has recently undertaken her Advanced 1 examination. Dominique loves dancing as it gives her an opportunity to focus on steps and performance of the syllabus and loves to be challenged at understanding more about ballet and movement. She also loves attending dance performances such as the Nutcracker and has taken several adult intensive courses at the National Ballet of Canada. She is also a classroom French Immersion teacher and holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Dominique is looking forward to sharing her love of dance and continuing to grow her passion while sharing all of this and more with other students at One Movement!
Nathaniel Keefer
Hip Hop & Breakdance
Nathaniel Keefer has been dancing for twenty-six years, fourteen of which he has spent in the professional world, performing and teaching in various studios in and around the GTA. He has taught his specialties of Tap and Hip-Hop, along with Jazz, Breakdance, and Ballet to students from ages five all the way to sixty-five. He has performed alongside Brining Tap Back (BTB) under Everett Smith, and has performed, trained, and danced with the likes of Shawn Byfield, David Cox, Luther Brown, Ryan Foley, and Makenzie Greenwell, to name a few. He is currently a member of Toronto-based Dance and Theatre ensemble Good Job Sally. Nathaniel has choreographed for all levels and ages, and his pieces have won overalls, scholarships, and concept and choreography awards. Besides dance, he has trained extensively in the Dramatic Arts, holds a degree in Radio Broadcasting, and does content creation for various podcasts and video series.
Nathaniel brings a positive and energetic environment to each class he teaches. His goal has been, and always will be, to inspire and positively influence his students to be the best dancers, and people, they can possibly be!
