Our Presentation:
Is 1 hour and 15 min.
(60 minute presentation with a 15 minute Q&A at the end).
We use different styles of dance (ballet, hip hop, contemporary and jazz) as a tool for expression and learning.
We incorporate motivational speaking and short movies ONE Movement has produced along with involving all your students during the presentation.
Our Mission:
To help students realize the effect bullying has on themselves and others, and how bullying and depression can lead to teen suicide. We want to help teens build self esteem so they can over come obstacles and help stop bullying in their school.
Teaching students and teachers how to recognize depression, where to go for help and who to ask.
Students will leave the performance feeling inspired and united.
Teachers will receive a hand out with a list of resources where teachers and students can go to get more information on the topics covered.
“Move Forward” will educate, motivate and inspire students to move forward in a positive direction!
It will help open the door to conversation about topics that need to be addressed in order for students to understand and create their own change!
